The latest Ofsted inspection, on 25/05/2022, rated the overall effectiveness as Outstanding. The inspector observed that children form excellent bonds with staff, are confident, happy, and caring towards their peers, developing a strong sense of belonging and building strong friendships.

Children readily explore independently and demonstrate excellent behaviour and social skills, encouraged by responsive staff. The setting offers a stimulating environment, both indoors and outdoors, with captivating and challenging activities that staff expertly plan.

Children make exceptional progress, starting school with a wealth of knowledge and a love of learning. The nursery places a strong emphasis on a broad and balanced curriculum, with an exceptional impact on children's learning.

Children in receipt of funded early education and those with special educational needs and/or disabilities are well-supported, with staff demonstrating an exceptional understanding of their learning and physical needs, ensuring the best possible outcomes. Progress is closely monitored, and rapid referrals are made for interventions when necessary, leading to significant developmental headway.

The nursery also caters with precision to children's health and medical needs, enabling full participation in daily routines. Staff expertly introduce new vocabulary, which children readily remember and understand, fostering impressive language and literacy skills and a love of stories.

SEND provision

Staff have an exceptional understanding of their learning and physical needs to ensure the best possible outcomes. Children's progress is constantly monitored, and rapid referrals are initiated to obtain interventions when necessary, leading to exceptional headway in their development. Children's health and medical needs are catered for with precision, enabling full participation in setting routines.

My son started here when he was 9 months old and I cannot fault the team. They are very open and approachable and I fully trust them to look after my son. He has learnt so much in the last year and often amazes me when he does something new at home that he has learnt at nursery. Highly recommend New Beginnings Rainham.

A true "Outstanding" nursery, this place has the most lovely staff on offer, you're hard pressed to find any fault with them. They have so much time for not just the children but also the parents. The teachings are very high quality, my child learned so much! I have also heard from other parents that their children are very much ahead when starting school and the schools in the area knows that children from New Beginnings are very well prepared. If you can get a place here you're lucky.
