Our ethos

Here at Nina’s Nursery High Lane, we believe in providing our children the opportunities to be curious and have adopted the ‘Curiosity Approach’ We truly feel that enabling children the freedom to explore the world around them helps them to grow and develop into confident, secure and independent individuals. We do this by providing them with a natural holistic environment which allows them to explore, investigate and develop their own learning pathway. We aim to ensure the children’s play spaces offer a calm and tranquil environment which in turn allows each child to become more engaged in deeper levels of sustained thinking. Our children believe it’s all about TREASURE!!! Beautiful authentic resources rescued from charity shops, car boots and older generations. Here we aim to turn rubbish into treasure. We offer bright shiny beautiful items, random treasures that capture our children and educator’s imagination. These are amazing resources that offer value to play, bringing a mix of textures and stimulus that no plastic counterpart can offer.

What it's like

Leaders have designed a well-sequenced curriculum which, overall, is implemented to a high standard. They have an excellent overview of the needs of the children and families and provide many opportunities to widen the children's experiences. Children's well-being is prioritised by staff, who also encourage children to test out their own ideas and have a go, resulting in high levels of self-esteem and independence.

Pricing & funding

The nursery charges a daily fee of £17.00 for children on funded places. This fee is broken down into specific daily charges covering meals, crafts, IT resources, outings, activities, and hygiene consumables.
