Fees are calculated over 51 weeks of the year and billed monthly. Sessions are charged individually, with a minimum booking of five sessions or three full days (including a Monday or Friday). Monthly fees are payable in full despite closures for bank holidays and inset days.

We joined 18 months ago with our daughter and absolutely loved Nordic Star back then. Unfortunately there has been so much staff turnover that there are barely any of the carers left from when we joined. The staff are lovely but the high rate of staff turnover really affects the quality of care so we hope the management can focus on prioritising staff welfare and retention. We really wish Nordic Star all the best!

Our daughter spent 2.5 wonderful years at Nordic Star. We're very grateful for the warmth and kindness of staff she experienced throughout her time there, the many friends she made, and the many memories and opportunities to grow. The facilities are nice and airy with high ceilings. While there's no private outside space, the nearest park is 30 seconds away and we found that children would go out almost every day in practice. The activities are varied, management is actually serious about the learning curriculum here (we have since learnt that's not always the case everywhere else !). Parents are kept informed of the day's activities via the app, which gives us things to discuss at pickup and dinner time. We get regular reports and personalised goals. A small negative is that there has been quite a bit of staff / management turnover over the years, but that hasn't significantly affected us. Highly recommended !

Our daughter spent two years at this nursery (from 18 months to 3½ years old) and she loved it! You couldn't ask for anything better for your child than this nursery! The children go out almost every day (sometimes twice a day) for walks along the canal, to go to the playground or to the library. There is a real learning programme for the children; they are not just left to play on their own. The team is caring and committed, even if there can be some staff turnover, but that is the case in many nurseries. We have moved and are looking for a nursery for our second daughter, and to be honest, we cannot find a nursery that measures up to Nordic Star. Thank you for everything Nordic Star!

Amazing nursery. They have a lovely sleep room, their own chef and even some outdoor clothes that they give to kids. All the stuff members are great. Our two-year-old loves it, and we could not be any happier!

My son recently joined Nordic Star, and the nursery impresses me constantly. Taking kids outdoor space including parks and shops is one of the wow factors that makes my son so happy going in there. Highly recommend this nursery!
