I cannot speak highly enough of the nursery my daughter attended for the past three years. From day one, it was clear that the staff here are not just qualified—they are truly passionate about the children they care for. Every teacher and caregiver went above and beyond to ensure my daughter felt safe, loved, and challenged in all the right ways. The outdoor space is absolutely incredible—spacious, secure, and full of opportunities for exploration and play. It’s clear that the nursery places a strong emphasis on providing a connection with nature, and my daughter loved spending time outside every day. What stood out the most was how they catered to each child’s individual needs and development. Whether it was through creative learning activities, social development, or physical skills, the nursery tailored every experience to help my daughter thrive. I always felt reassured knowing that her personal growth and happiness were the top priority. I truly believe the experiences and care she received here set her up for success, and I’ll be forever grateful for the nurturing environment this nursery provided.

North Duffield Under 5's is the home away from home you want for your child when you have to have them in childcare. The staff truly feel like a family who care deeply about your child and how they grow up into wonderful little people. My little boy struggled in his previous setting but since starting here a year ago he has absolutely thrived. His speech has come along wonderfully and I now feel like he'll be ready to start school in September, all thanks to the fabulous staff at nursery. The access they have to their fab outside area is great as he's able to run wild and free with his friends in an environment that naturally nurtures his development rather than teaching being rigid. The staff allow the children to influence activities they do, seeing where their interests take them and I love that style of learning. I cannot recommend this nursery enough, and I'm sending my second there at 12 weeks after unfortunately having to return to work early, but I know the staff will look after him so well and there's nowhere else I'd feel that comfortable leaving baby.

Can’t speak highly enough of Under Five’s. My son attended from being 2 for 3 years and my youngest has been there since he was 9 months old. They’ve been amazing with my son who is SEN autistic who was non verbal when he started, and really helped with the transition of going to up to primary school with all the other children given they’ve got such good connections to the village primary school. This was reassuring when applying for our school place knowing these connections were already there and stopped the worry for us of him not getting into the primary school. My youngest - now 2, tells us about all the things they see given they’re set on such an open field which I love. I drive from Selby after trying other settings and it’s well worth the extra few miles to know he’s so happy and in the right place

North Duffield Under 5s is a fantastic preschool with kind and caring staff. My eldest loved it and now my youngest is there, he can’t wait to go and doesn’t want to come home at the end! I love all the space they have to play and they do a daily run around the field.

Excellent pre-school, all 3 of my children have attended here and made great friendships that have carried on through school. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, Hannah has been brilliant! They really go the extra mile for the children and put on some great events in the village.
