- Children's independence skills are developing well, as they confidently help themselves to snacks and pour their own drinks, and are becoming increasingly independent in managing personal care needs.
- Leaders and staff have high expectations for children's behaviour, dealing appropriately with incidents and supporting children's individual needs.
- Policies and procedures prioritise children's wellbeing and welfare, with an effective key-person system in place, although parents don't always know who their child's key person is when children transition to a new room.

Guidance is provided by SEND oversight, and staff implement interventions and adjustments for children with disabilities and specific health needs, ensuring all children can take part in activities and are included in daily routines.
Outdoor space
Children benefit from daily access to the outdoor space, with separate areas designed to challenge them in various ways, and shared play spaces to aid transitions between rooms. Babies are guided on the climbing frame by staff to support their physical development and independence.
