How they support every child

SEND provision

Staff complete regular observations of children. They use these to identify promptly any gaps in children's learning and seek early professional help, when needed. All children, including those with special education needs and/or disabilities make good progress in their development.

Outdoor space

Children enjoy the time they spend outdoors in the well-resourced garden. Younger children build on their physical skills using large play equipment, such as the balance beam. Older children use chalks to write letters they know on the ground.

My son has recently started Reception having been at Orange since his first birthday, and my daughter has now been there nearly a year. They both settled in so quickly and absolutely thrived at Orange, taking part in a variety of activities include playing in the garden, learning in small groups, and weekly football and yoga classes. My son has found the transition to a school classroom very easy thanks to the brilliant pre-school team. The staff are incredibly kind and caring, and my kids have formed amazing bonds. I have found the Assistant Manager and various Room Leaders to be particularly good and take their roles/responsibilities seriously.

Our child has attended this nursery for several months now. Staff are very competent and kind. They speak many languages and fully support our child's developing multilingualism. They keep us informed through detailed reports and pictures on the online parents platform. The nursery also organises events and parents evenings. The location is also very convenient, next to a Tube station. Overall, we're very happy with our choice!

I had high hopes for this nursery based on its reviews, but unfortunately, my experience was not what I expected. We went to visit the nursery today and upon arrival, my family and I felt unwelcomed by the staff. What made matters worse was the management’s attitude. We called ahead to confirm that three people would be able to visit the nursery, and we were told that it would be fine. However, upon arrival, we were told only two people could tour the nursery, and the manager handled this situation in a rude and dismissive manner. She repeatedly interrupted us and was unhelpful throughout the conversation. We were expecting a more welcoming and respectful environment, but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves on communication moving forward.

The nursery is really great. My son has been there already a year and more and I can be completely satisfied with the support and joy that they bring to my child. They definitely know how to help a toddler to progress for the future and treat them the right way!
