SEND provision

Managers addressed children's lower speech and language skills after the pandemic by making it a key focus. Staff get to children's eye level, are attentive to communication, model language, and introduce new words to extend vocabulary.

Outdoor space

Children 'cook' in the outside kitchen, skilfully cutting real herbs with scissors and scooping sand with small spoons into their bowls. The inspector also observed the quality of education being provided, indoors and outdoors, and assessed the impact that this was having on children's learning.
