Inspector highlights
Verbatim quotes recorded in the Ofsted inspection
Parents cannot speak highly enough of the support they have received from staff in the setting.
They state how they have been helped to complete referrals to specialist organisations, are able to access a food bank inside the setting and receive emotional support when they have struggled with issues, such as behaviour and transitions.
Parents express their gratitude to staff for teaching their children the skills they need to move their learning on promptly.
Inclusion & environment
Staff know every child extremely well and have worked incredibly hard to ensure the environment is exciting and engaging for all children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Children with SEND are superbly supported by staff, who are skilled and act quickly to provide the right support at the right time. Staff use their detailed knowledge of every child to communicate highly successfully using a range of methods, which children respond extremely well to.
The inspector observed the quality of education being provided, indoors and outdoors, and assessed the impact that this was having on the children's learning.
My daughter moved to Paint Pots during the first COVID wave and the transition couldn't have gone better. Staff is really caring and have attention to detail, personalising care to the child's needs and supporting parents really well. They go beyond their responsabilities. I was so concerned with potty training and the staff were impeccable, providing a book, toys and advise to help with potty training at home. My daughter has allergies and skin problems and the Nursery is really alert to all her needs - the communication amongst teams and parents is fabulous. My child is always keen to go to pre-school and she is always happy when I pick her up. When our daughter is at Paint Pots she is receiving the best care and education possible and as full-time parents this is extremely reassuring. She is very loved at home and at Nursery - We couldn't be happier with Paint Pots. Thank you to all the staff! We will miss you from September ♥️
