Inclusion & environment
Staff provide highly effective support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities, and robust partnerships with other agencies ensure that children quickly receive the support they need.
Children use the garden for activities such as bug hunting and learning where food comes from. They also engage in physical play, including playing with balls, riding wheeled toys, balancing on climbing resources, running and jumping, and older children participate in yoga sessions.
My son has been attending Paintpots since September 2024 and it was the best decision I made. The setting itself is warm and welcoming from the minute you step through the door. Every staff member takes the time to say “good morning” “ goodbye” “how are you”, they know every single child’s name and address them as such. They use an app to send pictures and updates about what your child is getting up to during their day. My child started in the baby room, transitioning into the toddler room after he turned 2 over the summer holidays. This transition was a seamless process. The staff at Paintpots have helped my son get diagnosed with a speech delay as well as other delays. They have been amazing at helping us both get support with this journey and I can’t thank them enough. If you are looking for a welcoming environment, where staff go above and beyond to ensure your child thrives as well as providing the best care, then Paintpots is the perfect nursery.
Read on GoogleWe couldn’t be happier with our experience at Paint Pots Nursery. When our son first started, we were naturally quite anxious, but the management team and staff were so reassuring and supportive from day one. They really took the time to help both him and us settle in, which made such a difference. He attends the Baby 2 room and is absolutely obsessed with his key person, Ellie. The bond they’ve built is so lovely to see — he talks about her all the time at home! It’s clear how much care and attention she gives him, and how well she understands his personality and interests. One of his absolute highlights is the nursery pet, Shelly the tortoise. The staff all know how much he adores Shelly and are always so happy to get her out for him to pet. It’s those little thoughtful touches that show how well they know each child individually. In fact, every member of staff knows his name and greets him warmly, which makes drop-offs so much easier because he feels so comfortable and valued. We’ve seen such a big improvement in his speech since starting at Paint Pots. The team have supported him in so many ways, working with him patiently and encouraging his communication. They also really nurture his interests, going out of their way to find resources and activities around the things he loves. It’s amazing to see how much he has come along in such a short time. He genuinely loves going in each day, which says everything. We’re so grateful to the wonderful team at Paint Pots for the care, support and enthusiasm they show him every single day.
Read on GoogleWe honestly couldn’t have asked for a better nursery than Paint Pots. The team have been absolutely amazing with my child so nurturing, patient and genuinely caring. What has stood out most is how adaptable they’ve been, always willing to adjust to meet my child’s individual needs and make sure they feel safe, understood and included. Their communication is excellent, and I always feel listened to and supported as a parent. It’s such a comfort knowing my child is in an environment where they are valued and encouraged to thrive. We’re so grateful for everything they do.
Read on GoogleWe highly recommend Paint Pots Newall Green Day Nursery. My daughter attended before, and now my son goes there too – and we couldn’t be happier. The staff are caring, professional, and always supportive. Both of my children have felt safe, happy, and well looked after. We’ve seen great progress in their development, and communication with parents is always excellent. Thank you for everything you do – truly a wonderful nursery! 💛
Read on GoogleAbsolutely amazing nursery. Both my boys have been here and have been so well looked after. They go above and beyond for my child who currently attends who has additional needs and I never feel worried whilst he is in their care. They offer such an amazing variety of foods at dinner times which he enjoys thoroughly and the sensory room is unbelievable. I would recommend over and over to anybody who was looking for a nursery place. Thanks again for everything.
