Our daughter spent six months at Park Day Nursery in Reading, going five days a week from when she was about 7 months old until 13 months, and we had a really great experience. From the start we were impressed by how professional and well organised everything was. It’s clear the team put a huge amount of thought and care into how they run things and how they look after the children. What meant the most to us though was the genuine connection we felt with the staff. They were warm, attentive, and really took the time to get to know our daughter. She clearly felt very comfortable there and absolutely loved them. We’re very grateful for the care and support they gave our daughter during such an important stage, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Park Day Nursery to other parents.
Read on GoogleMy daughters attend this nursery and we couldn’t be happier with the care they receive. The teachers are warm, patient, and genuinely caring, always creating a safe and welcoming environment for children of all ages. Our baby Diana has adapted wonderfully thanks to the gentle approach of the caregivers, who pay close attention to her needs and routines. Dominika, on the other hand, enjoys a variety of engaging activities every day, helping her learn, build confidence, and make new friends. We truly appreciate the open communication, professionalism, and positive atmosphere. It gives us great peace of mind knowing that both of our girls are happy, safe, and well cared for. Highly recommended!
Read on GooglePark Day Nursery is a wonderful place. The staff are all very professional, caring and great with the kids. There is a lovely big garden with lots of different areas and activities. I was very impressed with all the trips they take the children on too, like museums, bird watching at the park and the care home down the road, as well as activities in the nursery like forest school, cooking and even Mandarin lessons! My daughter had a very happy year there and has made good friends. Her confidence has really grown with all the encouragement she has received. We will miss Park Day and always be grateful to all the staff for making us feel so welcome. Thanks Park Day!
Read on GoogleMy daughter attended Park Day Nursery for a few months, and I truly can't recommend it highly enough. The facilities are excellent, and the staff are warm, attentive, and incredibly professional. As a first-time parent, I was nervous about placing my daughter in nursery at just six months old—but those concerns quickly disappeared. Even before her first day, a home visit was arranged so the team could get to know her routine, which really helped put me at ease. Throughout her time there, I was able to call and check in whenever I needed, and I received daily updates detailing her activities, meals, nap times, and even photos—something I really appreciated. Although she was only there for a short period, I noticed a remarkable leap in her development. Spending time with other children and adults clearly had a positive impact on her. Park Day Nursery provided a safe, supportive, and engaging environment, and I’m so grateful for the care they gave my daughter.
Read on GoogleMy daughter attended Park day for a short period but it has made a very long lasting impact. She absolutely adored attending and even now with her limited vocabulary she asks to go to nursery and was excited about attending everyday and for a 1 and a half yr old that in itself speaks volumes. They were so attentive and understanding about parents new to leaving their child somewhere for the first time. Jackie and her husband were very helpful with fees and information. The tapestry updates were fantastic, detailed and always give you something to smile about during your working day. Rachel her room leader and key person was particularly fantastic at this and showed so much care about my baby's progress and development. She's never once come home with a nappy rash or unexplained injuries so I know she's well attended to every single day. They've also helped her build her confidence in doing everyday activities and in the garden using the slide and the fantastic play area in the fox's room has helped her learn to play independently with help from all the staff in her room. I could not recommend a better nursery with so much going on and activities always keeping the kids excited and entertained. We were so grateful for the experience here. The fees are also very competitive and affordable (as childcare goes). If you're in any doubt if this is the place for you don't think twice, here's a place where they can flourish and everything is so professional and your child will be in great hands. The whole team is fantastic and they know how to run a nursery, we would never have considered leaving if we weren't moving.
