As a cohesive team, staff attend regular training opportunities together, such as learning a variety of strategies to further support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities. This shared approach has a positive impact on children's development.
Staff encourage physical exercise outdoors, such as balancing on low planks and climbing large equipment.
A wonderful nursery, staff and the owner are very supportive and responsive. You can tell they really care about the children. My little one loved it here, they were very accommodating and helpful when it came to irregular nap and eating. Her speech and creativity have come on so much and she has made lots of friends. Plenty of activities and events to keep children engaged. They log in everything into the app daily and have weekly newsletter! Rooms are always clean and they are taking shoes off which is great! Staff always very happy and calm. Everyone knows our little one! Experienced Tiny Turtle and Scampering Squirrels Rooms. We would never have left them only we moved away. I cannot recommend Wigwam more!
Read on GoogleWe chose wigwam because of the nice, family feel it offered and we are so glad we did. It has a wonderful nurturing environment and the staff is very helpful and skilled in working with the kids and looking after their individual needs. My son has thrived, both physically and mentally at wigwam and I credit his carers for all their hard work, especially Adrian, who has been his carer and a massive support since the beginning.
Read on GoogleHighly recommend this wonderful nursery! My daughter spent almost 2 years here and she absolutely adored it and looked forward to every day. It's been such a relief knowing she's in good -highly trained-hands, and the bonds she made with the children and teachers is heartwarming.
Read on GoogleOur daughter joined the Wigwam family when she was 1 year and 6 months old. She had just moved to the UK from India and everything looked different to her then - the people, language, the food and the place. Wigwam did a sterling job of helping her settle into the new environment. She is three and a half today and she loves her carers and friends at Wigwam - they have guided and trained her to navigate her way through a community setting. They also do week long projects that gives the kids play with the idea long enough to get a feel for it. The 7-7 open hours also helps us parents not worry too much about that odd occasion when we might be stuck in traffic and not make it by 6. Overall, would definitely recommend Wigwam to friends:).
