Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

The support in place for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) is excellent. Early help is sourced and intervention plans are highly successful. Children with SEND make good progress.

Outdoor space

Children are determined to learn how to use new play apparatus outdoors and do not give up until they have achieved what they have set out to do. The setting also supports children's physical development very well, providing an array of activities for them to take part in, such as football and sports day activities, and children are keen to learn new skills like running outdoors.

My little boy loves going to Parklands. The staff are always warm and friendly, he’s grown so much more independent and confident since starting and learnt lots of new skills. It’s in a lovely rural setting with loads of outdoor spaces for them to explore. It’s precious having the peace of mind your child is being very well looked after. Highly recommend!

We have been sending our son here for about 8 months now and would absolutely recommend. He's thriving, adores the staff and is developing brilliantly. One of the biggest draws for us was the amazing outdoor space and wide selection of colourful toys. They do lots of activities, the meals are nutritious and every member of staff we've met has been warm, friendly and genuinely caring. It's great to see how happy and settled he is there.

Parklands day nursery . I cannot recommend enough. I moved my child from another nursery here and it’s like a different world . The space they have is huge they identify what they’ve can work on to help bring on the children ( in my case cutlery use) , they have a structured day , take the children to see the animals they have on site, make amazing homemade meals and snacks and my son basically dives out of my arms to go to the girls which he did after a couple of weeks. Whereas his old nursery he was there months and screamed on arrival each time. I can’t recommend them enough and all of the girls are lovely ! The amount my son has developed since only a few months of being there is amazing . If you’re looking for a nursery that you have complete peace of mind your little one is looked after and having fun then this is the one!

We moved our little boy to Parklands from another setting. He’s been in nursery since he was 12 months, but as he got older we learnt he had hearing issues and speech delay, which is why we made the move to Parklands for him to attend Preschool. The move to Parklands was unbelievable, he went from not wanting to go to nursery to running in to show all the team there what he was wearing or sometimes not wearing (socks) that day. He has become a confident and social little boy and I can only thank the wonderful staff for that. They’ve nurtured and supported him, and his speech has come on so much in his short time there. Some highlights for my little boy are the access to outside, they have a play area off all the rooms, the nature and green space around the nursery, the home cooked meals (his grandad wanted to stay for breakfast with him when he dropped him off one day, couldn’t believe what was on the menu), the team there, there is not much to say other than they are nothing short of incredible. We have found that this nursery is so inclusive, we feel that our son is seen and heard by everyone there.

My now seven year old daughter attended Parklands when she was little and my four year old is in the pre-school there now. My son is very settled and my daughter enjoyed her time there too. There’s a real focus on values and behaviours and it shows in the manners of the children. They make great use of the amazing outdoor space too and the children spend a lot of time outdoors which my son loves. The food is all home made which is great and they do themed days where they encourage the children to try different cuisines. They use one of the standard apps to keep you up to date and it’s always updated regularly. One of the main things for me is how much the staff genuinely care about the children. It’s not just a job for any of them. I looked at all of the local nurseries when I chose Parklands and it was the right fit for us. I am very happy to recommend Parklands Day Nursery to other parents looking for a nursery in the Nantwich area.
