Inclusion & environment
Staff work closely with outside agencies and professionals, including speech and language specialists and local authority officers, who provide advice on how to best support children. These strong links with a range of professionals help to ensure all children's needs are met.
Staff initiate a game of chase and children enjoy running outside, where they are encouraged to run slow and fast, extending coordination. There are currently fewer opportunities for children to develop their writing skills outside, which does not consistently support those children who prefer to learn outdoors.
An amazing nursery, with the main focus of learning through play, our little girl has learned so much for the time she's been there. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The headteacher/ manager is always so helpful with any questions. I can't recommend this nursery enough.
Read on GoogleWe couldn’t be happier with Sunflowers Nursery. From the start our little girl has loved going. The care that she is shown from all of the staff is incredible, all the practitioners are friendly and approachable. She is learning a lot, and we feel she is progressing really well there! She especially loves all of the outdoor play. Communication between the nursery and home is really strong, particularly with the new app. Would definitely recommend Sunflowers!
Read on GoogleSunflowers @ St Anne's is a wonderful, home-from-home setting which has provided my children with the opportunity to grow and learn in a safe, natural and secure environment. The staff are exceptional, always have a smile on their faces and go above and beyond to ensure the children are cared for and happy. The facilities are great and there are lots of opportunities to explore music, physical education, art and nature. My son is excited to attend each day, he speaks so warmly of the staff and all his friends and we could not ask for a better start to his education.
