We sent our four children to Parsons Green Nursery from the age of nine months through to pre-school, which meant we were part of PGN for almost nine years. I was working full time so I needed to know that the children were going to be safe and happy and looked after and loved when I was not able to be there. Under the brilliant leadership of the nursery manager Mr Daniel and head of Cortayne Road Miss Lacey, I don't think my children could have had a better start. The levels of care and attention and warmth were so reassuring as a parent. As babies my children were cuddled and cosy, as toddlers they were encouraged to be adventurous and brave and kind and to try to make the right decisions, and as pre-schoolers, they had an extraordinary head start in the world of phonics, reading and writing which meant that they were more than prepared to start school. PGN has always felt like family and we couldn't have asked for more than that.

Our daughter started in the nursery class at PGN two months ago when she was 15 months old. My husband and I could not be happier about our experience so far. Staff are wonderful and we have been struck by their kindness, creativity, energy and dedication. Their passion for early years education is inspirational. Furthermore it is lovely to see the bond between our daughter and her teachers, particularly Miss Emilie the nursery room leader. The ethos is the nursery is exceptional and we feel grateful that our daughter is able to experience and learn from this. Communication is excellent. We have been impressed by the detail and frequency of the updates we receive throughout the day via the app. Staff are also quick to respond should we need to contact them. From the first settling in session we have felt confident leaving our daughter. Thank you to the team at PGN for all that you do.

My three children all went to Parsons Green nursery in Cortayne road. They all started in the baby room between 8 and 10 months old for 2 days a week. My little boy has just finished there and I had to say goodbye to the staff, some of whom I have known and seen pretty much weekly for 6 years. We choose this nursery because it was recommended and also because, practically, it was one of the only one not closing during the holidays and offering a childcare for enough hours in the day for us to work. The head of education, Mr Daniel, who was managing the nursery for pretty much all our time there is amazing. He knows all the children and can tell if they slept well or not just by looking at them for a minute. He was always amazing at giving us educational advise on a wild range of topics going from potty training issues to behaviour changes after covid etc... He now specifically look at educational aspects but the new manager Miss Lacey has been there for a long time and is also very good with the children. She knows all of them and is a great person to go to if ones needs helps. The staff in all classes was always very good with my children, they all had so many great activities and developed so well. They all left at 3 to start school (in the french system) and the teacher were always impressed by their abilities and by how easy it has been for all of them to adapt to school, it is all thanks to PGN who prepared them so well for the next chapter. We are grateful for all the work they have done with our children.

I have put my two children through Parsons Green Nursery and it is the best decision we have made for our children and our family. PGN feels like family, they treat every child as an individual and I have been so impressed with the level of care and education that all the PGN staff provide. As we have navigated parenthood and the transition of our eldest to primary school, PGN have been by our side offering us support and guidance. Miss Lacey, supported by Mr Daniel, is truly fantastic - she is patient, creative and puts the well-being of the children and staff at the forefront. PGN have prepared our eldest so well for school. He has transitioned seamlessly, with inner confidence, and this is really down to the level of preparation that nursery have offered. Our younger one is so happy to go into nursery each morning, always with a smile and leaves at the end of the day with a cuddle for her teachers. I couldn’t think of a better place to have begun our children’s education. I will be forever grateful to PGN for all they have done for our children!

We love PGN! My daughter started in the nursery at 18 months old in the T1 class. We were immediately impressed with how quickly she adjusted to the nursery which was largely due to the warm and welcoming nature of the teachers. At every pickup we would receive a thorough recap of our daughter's day from her teachers, and it was obvious that they really got to know her and what was needed to enhance her development. She has since moved on to the T2 class where she is constantly learning about a wide variety of topics and participating in many different activities. The transition to the new class from T1 was absolutely seamless for my daughter thanks to how the nursery structures the 'settling in' days - a few hours a day, increasing by the day, over about a week's time. Our daughter's communication and social skills have improved dramatically and we continue to receive daily, personalised feedback sessions from her teachers at pickup time. The meals offered at the school are impressive. Often they serve dishes that my daughter would probably refuse at home but somehow she is eating 'All+' when served it at nursery! The diversity of food presented as well as the nutritional value it is providing are things we have been extremely happy with since day one! The PGN staff always make themselves available when needed and keep communication lines open. We receive frequent updates via the Famly app and the nursery management, and the staff encourage parents to get in touch if they have any questions or need to discuss a specific topic pertaining to their child. This nursery is very special and I would absolutely recommend it to any family in the area looking for a wonderful environment for their little one to grow, learn and have lots of fun!!
