Partou Silchester Manor Day Nursery & Pre-school provides childcare for children aged 1 to 4 years in Maidenhead, operating from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday, all year round since 2012. The nursery prioritises an inclusive environment where children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) and those who speak English as an additional language (EAL) make clear progress due to targeted support, enhancing their communication and social skills.
Children enjoy a well-planned indoor environment, freely exploring activities and developing fine motor skills. While the nursery has areas for improvement, particularly concerning outdoor learning, leaders have a clear curriculum vision and dedicate efforts to ensure all children feel safe, secure, and ready for their next learning stage, including school.
The setting has met safeguarding standards and has recently welcomed a new management team with clear ambitions for enhancing the curriculum and overall provision for all children.

Inclusion & environment
Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) receive targeted support, which has a positive impact on building their communication and social skills. They are fully included in all aspects of nursery life and have equal access to the curriculum. Staff swiftly identify when children need extra help and provide tailored support to meet their needs.
Children enjoy the outdoor environment, where they have ample opportunities for fresh air and exercise. However, the curriculum for outdoor play does not ensure that children can consistently access a broader range of meaningful learning opportunities when playing outside.
Children who speak English as an additional language make clear progress in their learning, receiving targeted support that positively impacts their communication and social skills.
Lovely nursery! The staff is great; helpful and always with a smile. The spaces are huge, both the room inside and the playground outside, and full of things to explore. The eating area is separate, with little tables and chairs for independent meals, and a separated sleeping space and sensory room, to give the children what they need throughout the day. The staff prepare amazing activities to develop the children skills, such as painting, cooking and other messy play, and they keep us up to date with everything through an app, including precious pictures of them. My little one loves going there, smiling since the moment we ring the bell, eager to come to play, hugging the ladies in the room and with a big smile when we come to pick him up. Eveything I could ask for.
Read on GoogleWe are incredibly happy with the care and environment at the Nursery. Our daughter absolutely loves it here, and we can see how much she is thriving. The staff are warm, attentive, and truly care about each child's development. As parents, we feel confident that she's in great hands. One of the standout features is the nursery’s collaboration with a sports vendor, which adds an extra layer of fun and physical activity to her routine. It’s been a fantastic way to promote a healthy, active lifestyle from an early age. Highly recommend for any parent looking for a nurturing and engaging place for their child!
Read on GoogleLovely nursery! I 100% recommend. My daughter started nursery in August and is in the baby room. I was worried she wouldn't settle as I'm sure every parent is but the staff put me at ease and supported usthrough the settling in process. The practitioners and managers are great and genuinely caring. The nursery is private and not overlooked at all and the outside space there is brilliant. My daughter is now fully settled and from everything I've seen, is having a brilliant time! Thanks team!
Read on GoogleWonderful Nursery, Highly Recommended! 5 Stars - Fantastic Nursery, Highly Recommended! My son attended this nursery, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Set in a beautiful and spacious manor house, it provided a wonderful environment for children to learn and play. The range of toys and activities was fantastic, and the staff were always friendly, approachable, and professional. As my son has autism, I was initially concerned about finding the right setting for him. However, the staff went above and beyond to meet his needs, showing incredible patience, understanding, and care. They even incorporated "Bucket Time," which he absolutely loved and responded to so well. Their dedication made all the difference to his development. I’m so grateful for the support and attention they gave my son during his time there, and I highly recommend this nursery to anyone looking for a nurturing, inclusive environment for their child.
Read on GoogleBoth my children have attended Partou Silchester Manor Day Nursery, my youngest still attends. Both LOVED / LOVE it. The building itself is so spacious and the outdoor space is like no other you’ll find in the area. If your kids like being outdoors this is the nursery for you - so much space to explore. The staff have always been so supportive and nurturing with my children and really helped my daughter who was extremely shy initially. The activities they plan with my toddler are fantastic. We, as parents, are kept up to date with everything my Son is being taught and regularly receive photos of him taking part in the weekly activities. He has so much fun and comes home telling me all about his day. He is always happy when we arrive to pick him up and has formed really close bonds with several members of staff - chatting about them at home. The manager Samina has always been hugely supportive and both she and her Supervisory team go above and beyond if we have any queries. I’ve always spoken highly of Silchester and will continue to do so - seeing how much they helped my children develop and how happy they are speaks volumes.
