About this day nursery

Pavilion Pre-School Nursery, established in 1971, provides childcare from three locations in Attleborough: a converted sports Pavilion, the Old Auction House, and a Crèche at the Enterprise Centre. All settings are centrally located, offering easy access to local schools and the railway station.

The nursery is committed to offering a happy, safe, secure, and stimulating environment where children can achieve their full potential. They operate an established equal opportunities policy, extending a warm welcome to all children and families.

With Ofsted registration, Pavilion Pre-School Nursery is dedicated to supporting children's development and ensuring a smooth transition to school. The staff, some of whom have been with the nursery for many years, are highly qualified with degrees ranging from BA (Honours) and Qualified Teacher status to Early Years Professional Status, NNEB, and NVQ Level 2 and 3.

They regularly attend professional development sessions to stay current with advancements in Early Years Education. The nursery provides both sessional and hourly care, accepting various government funding schemes and childcare vouchers.

How they support every child

SEND provision

Children's progress is effectively tracked and staff are swift to identify those who are at risk of falling behind. Children, particularly those with special educational needs and/or disabilities, are appropriately supported. Where further support is needed, staff engage and share information with other professionals, support parents and help to ensure all children reach their full potential.

Outdoor space

Staff plan and provide a varied curriculum to meet children's needs, both inside and outside in the nursery garden. Children explore the environment with confidence and self-select activities that staff have put out for them.

The staff are great. They really get to know the children and you can see they are comfortable in the setting. They are flexible with booking children in, unlike most other nurseries and out of school clubs which works really well with both mine and my husband's lines of work.
