What parents say

Verbatim quotes recorded in the Ofsted inspection

Parents appreciate the support staff give to them and their children, and comment how staff have gone above and beyond in some cases to achieve this.

Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

The special educational needs and disability coordinators work closely with staff and other professionals, such as speech and language therapists, physiotherapists, Portage advisors and paediatricians, to help children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) or medical conditions to meet their full developmental potential. Management and staff identify how children, particularly those with SEND or medical needs, really benefit from sensory stimulation and use available funding to purchase additional resources to support their ongoing developmental progress.

Outdoor space

Children enjoy trying to catch bubbles as they fly in the wind, and staff encourage them to share what else can fly. Children enjoy looking at insects so staff set up an ant farm inside and encourage them to look for insects in the garden.

Pippas house Reigate is a lovely nursery. Both my girls have been extremely happy here. The staff are just fantastic. They go above and beyond to make sure the children are doing fun educational things and they are well looked after. Often sending home lovely keepsakes with pictures, hand and footprints which we cherish. I highly recommend.

Our daughter loves Pippa’s House and so do we! The staff are experienced, gentle, caring and wise. The activities are varied and fun with lots of new experiences and the food is wholesome. I’ve been so impressed by how quickly the staff have got to know our daughter and help her grow in independence, always with a sense of fun. The communication with parents is great as well and I’ve never seen a rolled eye or raised voice. From our experience of preschool, I’d highly recommend this nursery.

I was recommended Pippas House by a friend and they have been absolutely phenomenal. My daughter started in babies, then boppers and is now a big girl in explorers. The staff in every room have been exceptional. They are all so caring, kind and fun. They genuinely care about the children and it shows in how supportive they were even when it took my daughter a while to settle in. Now she is in explorers room and they are fantastic, she is so happy, she looks forward to nursery and has lots of really good friends. So much effort is put in each day with all the stimulating activities for the children and the lovely food. The attitude within the room and the nursery as a whole is so positive and happy. We absolutely love being part of the Pippas House family.

Pippa's House in Reigate is an outstanding nursery. My daughter has been attending this nursery since she was just 9 months old, and I have been overwhelmed with care, support and dedication that she has received. All of the staff at Pippa's are warm and welcoming, and are hugely dedicated to their role, ensuring my daughter feels safe, secure and very well cared for, and I have been blown away with the progress she has made. The management team at PIppa's are outstanding, and they are always very approachable, going above and beyond. I regularly receive updates of my daughter's development, and I really enjoy seeing all of the wonderful activities that she has been taken part in. I can honestly say that my little girl starts each day at Pippa's with a huge smile, and when I pick her up at the end of the day, she is beaming with excitement, desperate to tell me what she has been up to. I’d highly recommend this nursery and I feel incredibly lucky that my daughter attends here.

Our two children have been attending Pippa's Reigate for about 18 and 6 months. The staff are lovely and I get the feeling every time I drop off or pick up that they really care for and know the children. They do lots of creative and active play and have a nice and shaded garden play area that they use at every opportunity. Nursery communications is always very clear. Overall, we're really pleased with how our children enjoy Pippa's and how confident we feel when they're there.
