About this day nursery

Redhill Baptist Church Pre-School is dedicated to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for children and families within the local community. They aim to ensure accessibility for all through transparent and fair procedures, widely advertising their services online, through Surrey Family Information Service, and in local publications.

The pre-school strives to support families with applications, particularly those for whom English is an additional language or who require extra assistance due to a disability. They welcome children of all genders, backgrounds, religions, and ethnicities, including those with special educational needs and disabilities.

Children can join from two years old, depending on space and their individual readiness, and can stay until the term before their fifth birthday. The pre-school generally recommends younger children start with two sessions per week and gradually increase their attendance as places become available and as the child adapts.

They also have a flexible admissions process, allowing for gradual integration into sessions. Parents are given extensive support during the settling-in period by staying with their children.

How they support every child

SEND provision

The ambitions for the curriculum are good for all children, including children with special educational needs and/or disabilities. This enables children to make the progress that they are capable of and to receive effective levels of challenge to stretch this further.

Outdoor space

Children access daily outdoor play, and staff recognise the importance of providing large play activities indoors during inclement weather. Children learn about their own safety and that of others when using the equipment.
