About this day nursery

Planet Tiny Nursery offers a stimulating and nurturing environment across three distinct settings in Muswell Hill, North London, catering to babies, toddlers, and preschool-aged children. The preschool welcomes children from 2 years and 8 months up to 5 years, providing structured activities tailored to their interests to prepare them for school.

The curriculum is enriched with a variety of extracurricular activities and specialist sessions, including different languages, cooking, pottery, crafts, dance, drama, and music with external providers like Jenny's Jam, Debutots, and Jumping Beans. Children aged three and over participate in "Big Work," a programme designed to foster development and prepare them for primary education.

The nursery prioritises outdoor play and provides free-flow access to a large outdoor space, ensuring children can learn and explore in the fresh air. In adverse weather, the church hall offers an alternative space for active play.

The dedicated practitioners utilise an "Island time" approach, providing one-to-one attention to understand and cater to each child's individual needs, interests, and developmental stage. This personalised approach ensures challenging and enjoyable experiences across all areas of learning.

The nursery operates Monday to Friday from 8 am to 6 pm, for 51 weeks of the year, closing only for public and bank holidays and two annual staff training days.
