Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

Staff support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) well. They demonstrate an excellent understanding of individual children's needs and work closely with a wide range of external professionals to provide bespoke support tailored to each child. Collaborative working with parents ensures procedures are in place to support the overall well-being of all children, including those with SEND.

Outdoor space

The inspector observed the quality of education during activities, indoors and outdoors, and assessed the impact on children's learning. At times, staff do not consistently provide mark-making tools, such as chalks for the outdoor blackboard, which limits opportunities for children who prefer to learn outdoors to foster their creativity and practise early writing skills.

My son joined Play2 Learn when he started in nursery, and from the very beginning it felt like we had found something truly special. When the time came for him to move into preschool, there was never a doubt in my heart—I already knew this was where he belonged. This place was part of his journey from his very first steps in learning, and it meant more to both of us than words can express. The staff at Play2 Learn are not just amazing professionals; they are kind, patient, and deeply loving people who truly care about every child. They welcomed my son and I with open arms and support us in ways I will forever be grateful for. I truly cannot thank them enough for everything they do for us. I am especially thankful for the way they help my son with his speech delay. They believe in him, encourage him, and celebrate every little milestone with us. Seeing his confidence grow, hearing his voice become stronger, and watching him blossom is one of the most emotional and beautiful experiences of my life—and I know it is because of the love and dedication of this incredible team. Play2 Learn is a true blessing to my son and I. It does not feel like just a nursery or a preschool; it feels like a continuation of our home and our hearts. They become part of our story, and I will always carry immense gratitude for everything they give my son. I could not recommend this place more! 💙🫶

My daughter attends Play2Learn, and I couldn’t be happier with our experience. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, creating a warm and nurturing environment for the children. The quality of care is outstanding, and I’ve seen so much growth in my daughter since she started. A special mention to the baby unit and Joanne (deputy manager) , who always goes above and beyond to make the children feel comfortable and engaged. It’s clear that the team genuinely cares about the children’s well-being and development. I highly recommend Play2Learn to any parent looking for a safe, supportive, and fun learning environment for their little one!

Play 2 Learn is a fantastic nursery. My 1 year old has been going there since February and my partner and I have nothing but praise for everyone that works there. The managers are so friendly and approachable. His key worker and all the other staff that look after him are amazing, so friendly, kind and caring. He settled in so quickly and we get regular updates and pictures of the activities hes done on the nursery app. My son loves Play 2 Learn Day nursery and gets so excited when he knows he is going. Thank you everyone for looking after our little man so well. If we could give 6 stars we would!!
