Parents speak highly positively about the nursery. They welcome the regular written updates and daily communication with managers and staff. They particularly appreciate the flexibility the nursery offers, and that managers work hard to meet the childcare needs of each individual family.
Inclusion & environment
The nursery's special educational needs coordinator works closely with key persons and local authority advisors to secure early help for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities. Funding is effectively used to provide additional equipment and resources to enhance the learning experience for these children.
Children have plenty of opportunities for physical activity throughout the day, including balancing on a circuit of tyres and riding bicycles and cars outside. Staff ensure children's safety and encourage them to understand how to keep themselves safe and identify potential risks.
Kerry and her girls are absolutely amazing , they are kind, genuine gems! They provide such a loving environment for not just my children but all the children they care for. I feel at ease knowing that my children are in such a safe environment! I was always so so worried about my son’s speech development but they have worked with him and he has come such a long way . I appreciate them and their hard work, as it is not the easiest job to do! I would highly recommend choosing this place and these girls to look after your children !
Read on GoogleIt's funny as I did not see the reviews on Google for Playdays two years ago when I placed my daughter into there care. If I had then there's no chance I would of sent her there. I have had issues of my daughter returning home with bruising, and addition to this refusing to go to this nursery earlier this year randomly. Even though we got to the issue, I still feel that the quality is no where as what it should be. Majority of the staff are nice and i'm sure they try to ensure safeguarding for children but I do doubt this very much. It's a private nursery which still offer the 15-30 free hours and might I add charge an extortionate price for food. My daughter was there from 2 - 3.5 years and then September 2019, I find out that they removed my daughters placement due to an internal staff communication issue which left my daughter without any nursery placement. Maybe it was a blessing in disguise that my daughter had no placement as I had just got her into Monkey Puzzles around the corner and and now shes also been offered a place at Valence Primary School. I'm sure the staff think they are doing their best but the level of quality I've seen at Monkey Puzzles, I would certainly not recommend you to pay money for at Play Days. You will get better quality at Monkey Puzzles.

Read on GoogleMy nephew attended playdays nursery and during his time there he always seemed happy and built some great relationships with the staff and thrived. The structure and how his room was run was always good and no 2 days ever appeared to be the same which kept him engaged. He also came home every day with a picture or some sort of craft and the nursery always got involved with events through out the calendar year. Food quality was good and there always seemed to be variation. The staff were very approachable and always seemed to be ready to help and answer any questions. I would reccomend this nursery.
