Playtots Children's Day Nurseries was established in 2000 as a family-run limited company, aiming to deliver high-quality, affordable childcare across five settings in Liverpool and Knowsley. The nurseries cater to children from birth to five years old, focusing on providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.

Playtots emphasises strong partnerships with parents and carers to ensure each child receives the best possible start in life. Their educational approach centres on a loving and caring pedagogy, where children learn through play.

The curriculum is tailored to each child's stage of development and interests, covering the seven areas of learning within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), as well as annual themes, topics, seasons, cultural celebrations, and special days. What it's like

Children are happy, settled and enthusiastic about their learning, immersing themselves in well-planned opportunities and confidently demonstrating their knowledge. They are incredibly independent, with even two-year-olds skilfully pouring their own drinks. Children play harmoniously, understand high expectations, and behave very well.

Pricing & funding

Fees are structured around full day, short day, morning, and afternoon sessions, with an hourly rate option also available. Meals and snacks are charged separately for children accessing funded hours.
