About this day nursery

Playtots Children's Day Nurseries was established in 2000 as a family-run limited company, aiming to deliver high-quality, affordable childcare across five settings in Liverpool and Knowsley. The nurseries cater to children from birth to five years old, focusing on providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.

Playtots emphasises strong partnerships with parents and carers to ensure each child receives the best possible start in life. Their educational approach centres on a loving and caring pedagogy, where children learn through play.

The curriculum is tailored to each child's stage of development and interests, covering the seven areas of learning within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), as well as annual themes, topics, seasons, cultural celebrations, and special days. The ultimate goal is to foster happy, kind, confident, and well-rounded children who are enthusiastic about continuing their learning journey.
