About this day nursery

Kids World Day Nursery, established in 1997, provides a nurturing and inclusive environment where children aged 0-4 years are happy and enjoy their time. 30pm, the nursery focuses on supporting children’s learning and development.

The curriculum prioritises language development and fostering a love for books, with children enthusiastically participating in stories and songs. The setting promotes good health by teaching children about handwashing and healthy eating choices.

Children are encouraged to be kind, friendly, and well-behaved, with clear routines helping them to understand boundaries and show respect. Support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) is a strength; staff effectively identify additional needs and work with other professionals to provide targeted resources that help children become independent and curious learners.

Parents highly praise the staff for making their children feel secure and valued. The latest Ofsted inspection, on 15th October 2024, rated Kids World Day Nursery as 'Good'.

While the outdoor learning provision currently involves obstacle courses, the nursery is working to further engage children in setting up these activities to enhance their outdoor learning experiences.

What parents say

Verbatim quotes recorded in the Ofsted inspection

Parents and carers are highly positive about how staff in the setting help their children to feel secure and valued.

Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

Children who need extra help, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), are effectively given resources that enable them to become independent and curious learners. Staff accurately identify aspects of children's development where they need additional help and work effectively with other professionals to implement targeted support.

Outdoor space

Staff do not always recognise opportunities to promote learning outdoors. For instance, they set out obstacle courses for children to access in the garden but do not always consider how to engage the children in the setting-up activity.

I am so so so glad i swapped my daughter (1yr old) from her old nursery to kids world. Since moving her to this nursery, she stopped crying at drop off within 1 week, comes home with a new skill every day and seems absolutely glowing. She sleeps better and her bowl movements are much more regular. Shes more calm and generally thriving when in the care of kids world. The team are amazing, she hasnt caught a sickness yet and the girls have made an incredible effort to get to know my baby on a personal level. When we pick her up they always tell us things that we know as parents but have never informed the nursery, we are always shocked at how much they have learnt about our baby in a short space of time. My baby is genuinely excited to see the staff when i drop her off and for a breastfed clingy baby this is a testament to how safe she feels with them. I couldnt ask for better care, they update me without asking which aids my anxiety so much and theyve never had any issues getting my baby to sleep (she is a known nap fighter). There is so many more compliments i could say but i would end up writing an essay. I am so grateful for the team and to the nursery as a whole. My daughter used to come home from her old nursery looking sad deflated snd exhausted - it was traumatising as a parent, she was constantly sick, constipated and refused to eat or drink there and her sleep was so disturbed. I was constantly sick, absent from work and it was an awful experience. If your thinking of swapping your baby out of a big franchise nursery into a smaller more independent nursery, please go with your gut. Thank you kids world for making the transition of me going back to work so effortless. You girls deserve an award ❤️

If I could give kids world day nursery more than 5 stars rating on google, I would for their exceptional skills and the way that they looked after My Son. Since I can create my own star I will give them 10 star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ review on google as they absolutely deserve it. for being one of the best nursery I have had an encounter with. I have 6 children and have had lots of experience with childminder, and other nurseries and I must say the manger is doing such an incredible amazing job not only with her self but also with her staff. I have observed her interactions with staff, parents and other children. I have to say you are one of a kind all the children at your nursery love you and your staffs. Your staff a learning from you and love you too. The children love you and the staffs how you give them warm welcome and show them love. I see the smiles on their faces as they light up. I would have love to have my son stay with you till he graduates but the nursery is not in my area and it’s not easy for me to get to it with my autistic son to pick his brother, my autistic son was treated with so much love and care ever time we visit to pick brother up. I am sad I have to get somewhere closer to make things easier for me because of the distance. Parents if your in that area make use of this nursery you can have peace of mind. Honest review. Me and my son will miss you all. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
