About this day nursery

Plumstead Day Nursery, operated by Home-Start Greenwich, is situated within the Plumstead Children’s Centre and offers childcare for children under five. The nursery has been under Home-Start Greenwich management since September 2016 and continuously strives to improve its services.

With a capacity for 56 children, the nursery provides year-round care with options for full-week or full-day attendance. The nursery actively supports families and children, leveraging Home-Start Greenwich expertise in early childhood welfare.

It offers a happy and safe environment where children can learn and grow. The centre is easily accessible via public transport.

Beyond childcare, the Plumstead Children’s Centre provides various family support services, including signposting to other services and one-to-one support for parents facing challenges. They also host a Parents Forum to engage parents in shaping activities and events.

Activities are mostly free, with some requiring a small fee, and concessions are available for courses. They also offer creche places, some of which may have a small attendance charge.

The centre also welcomes volunteers for both home-visiting and centre-based support roles.
