My two-year-old son started at the nursery in October 2024, and our experience has been excellent from the very beginning. The management team — Isaura, Theresa, and Hayley — are supportive, approachable, and exceptionally well-organised, ensuring clear communication and a smooth transition into nursery life. They took the time to get to know us as a family, listening to our concerns and making sure my son’s individual needs were fully understood and met. The Sparrows and Puffins room staff — Brenna, Mya, and Nakiah — are truly wonderful: warm, patient, and incredibly attentive. They worked together to help my son settle quickly and build confidence, encouraging his independence while also offering comfort and reassurance when needed. It’s clear that each child is valued and celebrated for who they are, and the relationships he has formed with his key workers have had such a positive impact on his development. Since Angel recently joined the team, it’s been lovely to see how naturally she has settled in and how quickly she’s built positive connections with both the children and staff — her gentle, enthusiastic approach has already made a wonderful impression. The nursery also provides nutritious, well-balanced meals freshly prepared by Ali, who ensures that every child’s dietary needs are carefully catered for. As my son has certain allergies, I’ve been especially impressed by the robust system the nursery uses to highlight this information among staff. This ensures clear, consistent communication and gives me complete peace of mind knowing his needs are always prioritised. I particularly love receiving the regular photos and detailed updates through the nursery app. These not only show the fun and engaging activities he takes part in with Jada, Rada, and Ruhena, but also explain how each experience supports specific learning goals linked to the curriculum. It’s such a joy to see how much thought goes into planning stimulating, creative opportunities that nurture curiosity and early learning in meaningful ways. The nursery’s beautiful garden is another highlight. With its thoughtfully designed play zones, natural elements, and wide range of outdoor equipment, it offers children the freedom to explore, experiment, and connect with nature every day. My son especially enjoys the water play and mud kitchen areas organised by Chantel, and it’s clear how much outdoor play contributes to his happiness and confidence. What really sets this nursery apart, though, is its strong sense of community. The staff go above and beyond to create an inclusive, welcoming environment where families feel involved and supported. Seasonal events, cultural celebrations, and fundraising initiatives bring everyone together, fostering genuine connections between parents, children, and educators. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with the care, dedication, and nurturing environment the nursery provides. Knowing that my son is safe, happy, and thriving gives me enormous peace of mind. It’s clear that this is more than just a nursery — it’s a place where children are truly inspired to grow, learn, and feel loved every single day. Thank you, to you all!

I am really happy with Purple Jays nursery. The staff, in particular, Theresa, Brenna, Rada, Hayley are super friendly and have Sonny’s best interests at heart. I like how the children spend most of their learning time in the garden as I know how important it is for their development.

Our daughter has been at Purple Jay nursery for the past three years when she started as a baby. I had visited many other nurseries prior to making a decision and found Purple Jay to be the most welcoming and friendly and it was evident that the staff genuinely cared for the children and there was a family atmosphere which appealed to me. My daughter has been very happy at Purple Jay and enjoys all the activities. The staff are loving and affectionate to the children. The App used by the staff is great to keep updated on the daily activities including food and drink intake and naps etc. I know my daughter will miss the nursery when she starts school!
