Rainbow Childcare Centres, located in the grounds of Exton C of E Primary School in Oakham, provides a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged 0 to 4. 15pm, Monday to Friday.
The dedicated team of five childcare staff, all qualified to at least Level 3, with one holding a Level 6 qualification, prioritises creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Children settle quickly and happily, engaging with a wide range of resources.
The centre's curriculum focuses on developing independence skills, ensuring children become confident, independent learners ready for their next stage of learning. Staff act as positive role models, supporting children in understanding and managing their emotions, fostering good manners through practices like singing about 'please' and 'thank you' at mealtimes, and encouraging choices in activities such as creating scented dough.

Outdoor space
Children enjoy plenty of exercise in the fresh air daily, developing stamina and physical skills through vigorous play in the securely enclosed field and supervised use of large equipment for climbing and football.
