Rainbow Children Community Pre School in Stanwell, Staines, TW19 7EE, is a childcare setting established in 2000. Operating from a purpose-built building within the grounds of St David's Roman Catholic Church, the pre-school provides a friendly and secure environment where children aged two to four are settled and happy.

The dedicated team of seven staff, five of whom hold early years qualifications, ensures children increase their confidence, explore the environment, and make their own choices. The pre-school fosters positive relationships among children and staff, with all children demonstrating that they feel safe and secure.

Children are encouraged to be curious and engage in imaginative play, supported by thoughtfully provided resources and activities that cater to their interests. The curriculum, developed by the manager, is based on children's interests and covers all areas of learning, including strong support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND).

30pm and on Friday from 9am to midday during term time, receiving funding for free early years education for two, three, and four-year-olds.

How they support every child

SEND provision

Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) are supported to a high level. Staff work closely with parents and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes, with specific training provided to support individual needs.

Outdoor space

Children have ample opportunities to develop their larger muscles, enjoying exploring and running around with friends. Younger children develop their confidence as they learn to climb and ride bikes with help if needed.
