Rainbows Day Nursery provides high-quality childcare for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years, operating 51 weeks a year, closing only for one week at Christmas and on Bank Holidays. The nursery is open Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, offering a nurturing environment with a strong focus on developmental play.
The facility is thoughtfully divided into age-appropriate spaces, including a dedicated Baby Room for infants up to two years old, a Toddler Room for children between two and three years, and a Pre-School Room designed for older children to develop school readiness skills. The curriculum emphasises a blend of structured activities and free play, both indoors in dedicated creative and messy play areas, and outdoors in age-specific spaces that include climbing tyres, a large sandpit, and even a vegetable allotment for gardening activities.
The nursery also takes pride in offering a warm and homely atmosphere where children are encouraged to explore, learn, and socialise under the guidance of dedicated key workers.

Inclusion & environment
The managers recognised that some children, especially toddlers, were behind in their communication and language skills since the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, staff attended courses to help them to introduce the use of sign language alongside the spoken word. This approach is having a positive effect on children's progress in communication and language and is being cascaded across the whole nursery.
Children regularly spend time outside in the fresh air. Pre-school children show excellent physical skills as they whizz around the garden and balance on wheeled toys.
Absolutely love rainbows! My child thrives in this nursery setting, I looked at 2 other nurseries and they didn’t compare, my little one gets excited to go in and has created fantastic bonds with the staff members and his key worker, I am kept fully up to date on everything throughout the day via the Famly app, they fully helped and supported my child through potty training and helping him to understand his emotions when he was having quite big outbursts, I am always recommending rainbows to other family and friends, my litones speech, confidence and development is thriving with help from all of them, office staff are also very friendly and helpful, the whole team that work there are really great.
Read on GoogleOur daughter attends Rainbows day nursery ( pre-school) and she has settled so well. She has come a long way with her speech, has made friends and is now looking forward to her first “friend” birthday party. The ladies are accommodating with us and loving towards our Mimi and we are very thankful ❤️
Read on GoogleOur son started here back in February and I was a bit apprehensive about him starting nursery. The staff in the baby room at rainbows made all my apprehension disappear. They are lovely staff who work at rainbows and my son always have a very lovely time. He’s playing and giggling and doing all sorts as the staff are excellent at providing varied toys and activities for them to do. I am so glad we found a nursery with such friendly, caring staff with a real family feel about the place.
