The nursery effectively supports children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Leaders promptly identify children needing additional support and implement timely interventions. They collaborate with parents and other professionals, including educational psychologists and speech and language therapists, to ensure children receive appropriate support. Provision is adapted to meet individual needs, including the use of visual prompts.
Children have ample opportunity for physical activity, both indoors and outdoors. Leaders have strengthened procedures for monitoring children outdoors, ensuring at least two staff members are present when children access the full outdoor area.
