How they support every child

SEND provision

The special educational needs coordinator works with other agencies to create targeted plans which ensure that all children make good progress. The support and reasonable adjustments provided improve children's care and education. Staff know each child's individual needs and specific requirements.

Outdoor space

Children benefit from plenty of opportunities throughout the day for fresh air and exercise. Activities such as weekly sports sessions and regular trips to the adjoining woodland area further support children's physical well-being. Staff teach children how to stay safe outdoors; for example, children know to use the zebra crossing and hold hands when they go on their daily walks within the grounds.

Our daughter started in the baby room at Ribby for about 5 months ago and loves it! In that short time already her development has come on so much. Particularly her eating and social skills. The staff are all so warm and welcoming and genuinely care about the children as individuals, and that parents! There are plenty of updates and learning activities shared. We are very happy so far and would highly recommend Ribby nursery, especially with the recent new reno work.

Ribby Hall Nursery has given our son the best start to his education. My husband and I felt all of the natural worries of sending our little boy to nursery for the first time but the staff at Ribby Hall made the transition appear seamless. Not only are they welcoming, friendly and caring, they are committed to ensuring that each child thrives in their care. The facilities at Ribby Hall are fantastic and our son has enjoyed visiting the shop and playing on the park. We are delighted with how settled he became within such a short space of time and the development in his communication skills is apparent. Our son now seems excited to go to nursery and my husband and I couldn’t be more delighted with our nursery of choice.

Both our little ones went to Ribby Hall nursery with our daughter still currently there. I can’t think of a better place to send your children. The staff are great and the management have always been flexible to meet our needs. The nursery itself is a brilliant mix of a fun but also learning environment. The nursery is set within Ribby Hall and the nursery staff take full advantage of the outdoor areas including parks, woods, nature reserves and even an onsite zoo! Can’t recommend the nursery enough if you want your little ones to have the best start.

A random approach to enrolment of my girl at four months old. I had not even thought of Ribby Nursery, but purely through ease of travel and work, best idea ever. From the team face to face and the management its been a dream. My girl absolutely loves Nursery and skips to the door, this makes leaving her even more comfortable for all. The development and crucial stages of my child's growth has certainly progressed further, with help and guidance and continuous improvement & learning. The team are absolutely amazing and I am so happy that my girl went here - thanks teams for all your hard work & dedication to future years.

We have both our children at Ribby Hall nursery and it is a fantastic place! The care given by the workers is great and the variety of activities they do works brilliantly for the children. Having access to the amount of space and other areas of the grounds, such as the zoo, provides a wonderful space for the kids to develop their skills and education! I could not recommend them enough. Well done to the whole team
