I was surprised to read a one-star review describing this nursery negatively as my experience has been completely the opposite. I feel truly blessed to have found such a wonderful nursery right on my doorstep. Since 2019, three of my children have attended, and my son, who recently left, still talks fondly about the nursery and the teachers. I now have a 9-month-old and can’t wait until he turns two so he can join as well. An absolutely amazing setting and the staff have always treated me and my children with genuine kindness

My youngest brother attended this nursery when it first opened in 2014, and now my niece is enrolled. The nursery has expanded beautifully over the years, and the staff are consistently helpful and supportive. Although I no longer live in Luton, I would have loved to register my own child here.

Sent four of my kids here since 2014. Now up until 2025 the nursery has become rubbish. The staff don’t look after the kids properly and my son comes home with marks and bumps all the time. The staff are plain simple rude! Had an emergency where I would be literally late for 5-10 minutes max and they want to charge late fees. Also they kept saying my son’s name wrong and instead of correcting them after telling them, she said oh well we have someone else with that pronunciation. Ok so how is that my problem?

My daughter loves attending Rise & Shine. The staff are lovely and considerate whilst being firm and attentive to the needs of the children. Great range of learning resources and toys and I think it’s great they involve the parents with their child’s book reading mornings and learning sessions. The only criticism I have is outside shoes being worn all over the carpet area where the children sit for story time, would be good to make them take off their shoes/wear plimsoles in that area. Overall a great, caring & supportive nursery where you can see that the staff love what they do and wonderful for anxious parents like myself.

I would give this place a 0 star if I could. This place has unprofessional employees. The apprentices who are training to be nursery teachers have no clue on handling children or safeguarding them. The teachers are not friendly and scare the children so much that my daughter came home crying and upset. The management of this place absolutely unprofessional and don’t have any communication or service skills. They are so stubborn and rude when dealing with people, as I had an experience of dealing with them regarding an issue with my daughter.
