About this day nursery

Rising Stars is a group of three nurseries dedicated to the care and development of children, fostering a nurturing home-from-home environment. They focus on building confidence in children and providing a stimulating, enjoyable space that promotes learning across all developmental areas.

The nurseries aim to create a safe and secure setting where every child's individual needs are met, helping them reach their full potential. They offer educational and physical extra-curricular activities, encouraging free expression within a well-prepared and stimulating environment.

Rising Stars prioritises strong partnerships with parents, welcoming their contributions to the environment and practices, and uses a parent app for regular updates. The nurseries are committed to equal opportunities, implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage framework, and ensuring staff are well-trained and suitable to work with children.

They also emphasise safeguarding and maintaining high levels of health and safety, alongside delivering nutritional, balanced, and freshly prepared meals on-site to cater to all children's needs.

Welcoming all contributions to our environment and practice. - We will ensure that our environment promotes equal opportunities regardless of race, gender, religion, sex, age and disability - Implement the early years foundation stage framework throughout the whole nursery - Ensure safer recruitment and suitability of each practitioner working with the children. - Develop all practitioners ensuring that the training opportunities and progression are met - Liaise with parents through our parents app also offering regular updates via email, Facebook page, websites and notice boards. - Adhere to all policies and procedures in place. - Ensure all children are safeguarded and maintain high levels of health and safety.

How they support every child

SEND provision

Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities are well supported. Staff work in partnership with parents and other professionals to provide children with personalised support plans to help them make the best possible progress. Any additional funding the setting receives is used well to support children's individual needs.

Outdoor space

Children thoroughly enjoy their time outdoors in the fresh air. They develop good physical skills and swiftly learn to assess their own risks, demonstrating awareness of balance and developing strength and coordination.

Our daughter has been at Rising Stars for over six months now and it's been incredible to see her grow under their nurturing care. Her key workers are really loving and attentive to her and are always coming up with the most creative activities and themed days. I love that she's outside everyday too!
