The service is rated Good by Ofsted (latest inspection 13/08/2024), maintaining its previous Good rating. The nursery offers a well-planned curriculum that prepares older children for school and helps all children learn about the world around them.

Staff are particularly skilled in supporting communication and language development, thoughtfully adapting their speech to suit each child's developmental stage and encouraging the use of new words. The team of 19 childcare staff, 15 of whom hold at least a Level 3 qualification, build strong relationships with children and families, fostering a comfortable and happy environment.

They are also knowledgeable and passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and/or disabilities, working closely with parents and other professionals to create targeted learning plans. Leaders prioritise staff well-being and development, ensuring a valued and supported team.

SEND provision

Staff are knowledgeable and passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and/or disabilities. They liaise with a range of other professionals to ensure all children receive the help they need and the best possible support to help them make progress. Staff identify potential delays in children’s learning swiftly and share this information with parents. They create targeted learning plans for children who need them, and have a close oversight to ensure that gaps in learning are not widening.
