Roade Rascals, a childcare setting for children aged 1 to 10 years, has been operating since 2015 and received an overall 'Met' rating at its latest Ofsted inspection on 2 February 2026. Conveniently located in Roade Village Hall, on Bailey Brooks Lane in Northampton, NN7 2LS, the nursery is open Monday to Friday, from 07:30 to 18:00.
The setting uses the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum approach, ensuring a broad and balanced learning experience. Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) make positive progress due to targeted support, with staff effectively collaborating with parents, carers, and other professionals, including the setting's SENCo, to develop individualised plans.
Roade Rascals also places a strong emphasis on outdoor learning, providing children with daily opportunities for fresh air and exercise. Preschool children regularly visit the local park to use large equipment, fostering their physical development through climbing, balancing, and manoeuvring their bodies.
This welcoming environment fosters secure attachments and allows children to explore confidently while forming positive relationships with adults and peers.

Both my sons attend Rascals and always have a fantastic time. Rascals is very well run and I can highly recommend.
