About this day nursery

Rolleston Kindergarten, affectionately known as Kindy, has been a cornerstone of childcare in Rolleston On Dove for over 30 years. Nestled in a picturesque village setting overlooking Brook Hollows Spinny, this independent establishment provides a unique and homely environment for children aged 9 months to 11 years.

They offer a comprehensive range of childcare solutions, including a baby unit, nursery, pre-school, and an out-of-school club called K:Hub, offering before- and after-school care as well as holiday clubs. Kindy prides itself on its "Child led, Play Based, Inclusive Curriculum," which aligns with the EYFS statutory framework and focuses on holistic child development from birth to five years.

The curriculum is deeply influenced by the local environment and incorporates diverse educational philosophies such as Forest School, Mindfulness, and fostering independence. The dedicated staff, with their extensive experience, are committed to providing top-quality care and education, building strong partnerships with families to support each child's early educational journey.

Kindy aims to create an enabling environment where children thrive and are well-prepared for their transition to school. They also provide continuity of care for children attending John of Rolleston Primary School through their K:Hub, offering age-appropriate activities and meals.
