How they support every child

SEND provision

Staff have high aspirations for all children to reach their full potential. They quickly identify any possible delays in children's development. Staff work tirelessly to secure specific and targeted interventions. Staff provide intensive support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities and their families. They work extremely closely with all agencies involved to ensure that children receive consistent and individualised support.

Outdoor space

Children demonstrate very high levels of energy and enthusiasm as they enjoy the extensive opportunities for outdoor learning. Staff use very skilled questioning techniques to encourage children to carefully plan what they want to do. Children then work together to support each other's ideas. For example, to make rivers of water running down an incline, children ensure that there are sufficient water and bottles for everyone to take part.

Great nursery, our boy is always happy to go and clicked with the staff from day 1 - they all seem confident and relaxed, and create a great atmosphere for the children. Forest school, beach trips, allotment and activity pics shared with parents daily but not too much screen use around the classroom. Good integration with Saltburn primary school next door. Highly recommend!

Both of my children attend Rosedene, I've used them since my now 8yr old was 10mths old. My children still love attending and the manager is always very accommodating. The nursery staff are all so lovely and caring and they always have a smile on their faces. I've never had any issues with the care my children have received. Thank you Rosedene Saltburn, we would be lost without you ❤️

My little girl absolutely loves coming to Rosedene nursery. When she first started she was extremely nervous, but the staff were so caring and understanding with her and totally followed her lead which is amazing. The communication is brilliant, they are always doing different activities daily, and post daily updates and pictures. My little girl has settled in so well and absolutely loves coming. I can’t praise the staff enough!

Rosedene Saltburn has been a wonderful place for my little boy, who has attended since he was 9 months old in the Rosycheeks room. The staff are not only great but incredibly kind and caring. The activities are thoughtfully designed, engaging, and help develop vital skills. I couldn't be happier with the care and attention provided. Truly an amazing nursery!

Can’t speak more highly of Rosedene Saltburn if I tried - the staff are all lovely and it’s obvious they truly care, and the children are always doing fantastic activities. My child has been there since he was 9 months old and is now nearly 4 and it’s one of the best decisions I made choosing this nursery!
