Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

The special educational needs and disabilities coordinator works very effectively with parents and other professionals involved in children's education to fully support their progress and to provide an inclusive environment.

Outdoor space

Children enjoy playing in the well-resourced outdoor play area, enthusiastically riding on trikes and wheeled vehicles, and navigating the space available. They test out their ideas as they roll balls down guttering of varying heights and concentrate intently when filling containers with water to add to the soil in the mud kitchen.

EAL / language support

All children, including children who speak English as an additional language, make good progress from their starting points.

I have used Rosy Cheeks for all three of my children from 2012 until 2023, using them almost every day for most of this time period. They have shown absolute care, love and attention to all of my children, helping them with all aspects of their development and learning. All of my children started in the baby room and progressed through the rooms until they started primary school. Therefore I have an excellent knowledge of the staff in each room and can honestly say that they are the most trustworthy, professional and caring nursery. One of my children has additional needs and they were incredibly helpful in getting a diagnosis and working with external agencies. They are also extremely accommodating with dietary needs. You won't find a better nursery in Stoke-on-Trent. Can't recommend them highly enough!

Absolutely brilliant nursery, my little boy absolutely loves it here! His face lights up every time he sees the front door. His development has gone from strength to strength since he started & I just cannot thank all the staff for what they do! I found it very difficult coming to terms with leaving him for the first time and they were so supportive and still are (I am a worrier) & now I wouldn’t trust anyone else with him! His teachers send updates throughout the day, with photos too which is so amazing & a diary which comes home too! I have lots of more local places to me but I would choose Rosy Cheeks any day of the week and he is super settled there!! I could go on and on .. Thank you everyone xx

Best nursery around wouldn't send my children anywhere else. All 3 of my boys have attended over the space of 8 years and its just as brilliant now as it was then. The staff are lovely and will help in anyway they can not just for the children but parents too nothing is ever too much trouble. Would highly recommend and more so if your child is delayed as they really help them come along!
