Food
Meals and snacks included for 8am-6pm sessions; parents to provide hot vegan nut-free lunch and vegan snacks for other sessions.
Rozey Days Montessori in Kingswood, Bristol, provides a nurturing environment for children from 6 months to 4 years old. The nursery operates 48 weeks a year, offering full-day sessions from 8 am to 6 pm, Monday to Thursday, and shorter sessions on Fridays from 9 am to 3 pm.
They follow the Montessori approach, enriching the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum with high-quality materials and experiences. While they accept government funding schemes, they also emphasise voluntary contributions to support their comprehensive Montessori programme, which includes activities like baking and educational trips.
Without these contributions, certain enrichment activities and enhanced communication tools may not be accessible. The nursery offers limited fully funded places on a term-time-only basis and requires a minimum of two sessions per child.
They are currently at full capacity for children under two years old. Meals and snacks are provided for children attending 8 am to 6 pm sessions, but parents are required to provide a hot, vegan, nut-free lunch and vegan snacks for children not on the extended day programme.
An online system tracks developmental progress, and parents can receive updates on their child's day. They encourage parents to check their eligibility for various free childcare entitlements through the government's Childcare Choices website.

Inclusion & environment
Key persons liaise closely with parents to build a clear picture of children's needs and help prepare them for school, closing any gaps in learning. They offer advice and support to parents to get any additional help children may need, including from outside professionals. Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities and those in receipt of additional funding are closely supported to reach their potential.
Our daughter started at this pre-school in September and so far we have been impressed with the lovely gentle but enthusiastic approach of the teachers, the good food the children are given for meals, and the encouragement of self-led play & learning.
