• Children are happy in this nurturing playgroup, independently hanging up their coats and chatting to each other.
• Children demonstrate a good understanding of the world, discussing how vegetables rot and decay.
• Children are kind, compassionate, and mature, playing and interacting positively with each other.
• Staff give utmost priority to helping children develop their communication and language skills, using action songs and correct language.
• Children are physically active, working together on obstacle courses and developing strength through activities like cutting.
• The support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities is a strength of the playgroup.
• Reading is a fun activity, with children hearing lots of stories and engaging with books created by staff where all children are characters.
• Partnerships with parents are exceptionally strong, with daily conversations, photos, and written reports provided.
• The manager has a clear vision to ensure that children are ready to start school.
