Shepherd Hut Outdoor Day Nursery is dedicated to fostering children's development and learning through immersive outdoor experiences. The nursery operates across three locations: Wendover, Great Missenden, and Marlow, each offering a beautiful natural setting designed to ignite a sense of wonder and encourage holistic growth.

Inspired by the Forest School ethos, the nursery's programme aims to build self-esteem, promote independence, expand children's knowledge of the natural world, and instil the value of teamwork. Children engage in a diverse range of child-led activities, including arts, crafts, tool work, planting, and harvesting fruits and vegetables.

The nursery boasts a high adult-to-child ratio, ensuring that qualified and experienced staff provide undivided care, support, and encouragement, inspiring and engaging children to develop their unique characters and self-confidence. The philosophy emphasises every day as an opportunity for growth, challenge, and building expectations, all while meeting the essential requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework.
