We are so pleased with Blue Willow, their staff and their ethos. They are a well run nursery, with kind and understanding management who truly put our little ones first. Their montessori style learning environment has helped my premmie baby come on leaps and bounds with all aspects of his development and we couldn't be happier. His brother will be joining later in the year and we can imagine that we will continue to he happy with how well cared for our little ones are. Food is excellent and a variety, and their outdoor dining on porcelain plates and the use if proper cutlery is everything we could ask for and more l as I've seen the difference in my little ones table manners etc. The outdoor activities are excellent and the staff don't shy away for letting our little ones get a bit dirty, like they should be and help them take healthy risks and initiate risky plan to prepare them for the outside world. Thank you so much Blue Willow for taking care of our little ones!
Read on GoogleMy young daughter has recently started Blue Willow nursery and I couldn't be happier. The staff are very caring, there's a lot of activities, like painting and arts and crafts, a beautiful garden, sensory play and the meals are healthy and nutritious. The staff emphasise outdoor play and nature. What a great nursery! Thank you 😊
Read on GoogleI am writing this review as a concerned parent following a serious safeguarding concern involving an unexplained injury to my 14-month-old son. When I collected my child, I noticed a visible bruise on his forehead. This had not been communicated to me by any member of staff during the day or at the time of pickup. When I raised the concern, I received inconsistent responses — one staff member stated that my child had been outside, while another said he had not. Notably, his shoes were new and showed no signs of outdoor use. More concerningly, I was told that staff had not even noticed the bruise. The following day, the bruise became significantly more visible and reddish. From the photos taken before, it appeared that my child may have bumped his forehead again in the same place. Despite this, there was still no communication, no incident report, and no acknowledgment from staff. As a parent, I understand that minor accidents can happen, especially with toddlers. However, the lack of awareness, inconsistent information, absence of incident reporting, and failure to inform me promptly was deeply concerning. Transparency and communication are essential when entrusting a nursery with the care of a young child. Due to these ongoing concerns, I made the decision to withdraw my son from the nursery with immediate effect. Only after I requested his withdrawal did the nursery initiate an investigation. I was advised that this would be followed up; however, 28 days passed and I did not receive any update or outcome. This experience raised serious concerns about supervision, safeguarding procedures, and communication within the nursery.
