Shining Stars Day Care provides a welcoming and nurturing environment where children from 0 to 10 years thrive and thoroughly enjoy all aspects of their learning. Open all year, Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 18:00, the setting offers large, purpose-built rooms that create an open space for children to explore freely and make choices in their play.
The curriculum is meticulously planned, ensuring activities are consistently purposeful and build upon children's prior knowledge and learning, taking into consideration their individual starting points and next steps. Staff skilfully guide and support play, focusing on communication and language development.
Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) make particularly positive progress, supported by high expectations from staff who implement targeted intervention plans and detailed assessments. Children have regular access to a dedicated outside space.

My little girl has been attending shining stars for over a year now, all the staff are brilliant, they are fantastic with all the children and parents. My little girl wasn’t talking much or interacting and now she’s doing all of that and so much more. She absolutely loves the place! Shining stars have never let her get behind and continued to support her. All the staff have worked with me to ensure my little girl gets to where she needs to be and it’s really shown. The new building has lots of things for children to do, it is very spacious and they put activities on every day to get the children learning! I had this nursery recommended to me, glad I listened! Because I cannot recommend a better nursery myself! Thank you all at shining stars, you’re all amazing! ✨

When trying to find a suitable nursery for your child/children, it's daunting. The thought and feeling of leaving your child/children with strangers is just horrible but with Shinningstars DayCare I was immediately made to feel at ease. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming and supportive, the sense of safety and calm is felt almost immediately. My daughter started in September 2025 and our journey so far has been nothing but amazing! The staff are passonate, friendly, caring and it really does show. Communication is awesome, I love the app! I can see what my daughter is eating, what cares have been carried out, the activites that have been planned each day. Getting the occasional photo, seeing my daughter interacting and making new friends, fills me with confidence. ❤️ Thank you team Shiningstars xx

Both of my son’s have attended Shining Stars Daycare and WOW what a place it is. The staff and environment really feel like a family. They truly care and go above and beyond in terms of taking care of the children and the local community in general. They have a Christmas party each year which they fund themselves, they have a food share scheme and quite honestly, are probably the most generous and kind family you’ll ever meet. The nursery facilities are outstanding. The communication is exceptional (v important when you’re leaving little ones) and the most important thing for me as a working mum, they’re so flexible and accommodating. Always doing what they can to help, even at last minute. Something I think is pretty rare, but absolutely appreciated. Can’t rave about the place enough! You’d be lucky to have your child attend Shining Stars Daycare. I’ll be sad when mine leave… but don’t have to worry about that right now , due to their holiday club! So no tears just yet ❤️ Carly xx

My daughter attends this nursery 2 days per week. All the staff are absolutely amazing with her and she has come on so much with her speech, co ordination and overall learning in general. The new setting is so spacious and has so much to do for all the kids. I’m so glad I found this nursery. Thankyou to everyone at shining stars for being amazing.
