How they support every child

SEND provision

Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) are extremely well supported. Staff have an excellent knowledge of child development and work hard to involve other relevant professionals to ensure all children make the best possible progress.

Outdoor space

Children spend a lot of time in the outdoor area and in the local community, where babies make rapid progress in their physical development. Staff appropriately supervise children outdoors.

EAL / language support

Staff are highly skilled and effective at supporting children to acquire language, going above and beyond to help them become confident communicators in a language-rich environment. They identify individual communication needs to provide additional support.

We have been using Sidcop nursery since 2019 and you can see why they are rated Outstanding and have been for many years. The entire team from management, key workers and the cook are approachable, friendly and always put the children first in everything they do. The team of nursery nurses are loved by my daughter and she thinks so much of them all. I have been supported with potty training, speech and so much more. Thank you.

My daughter absolutely loves going to nursery at sidcop, she adores all of the staff and always goes and comes home is such a good mood and with a smile on her face. The staff are so kind and helpful with any problems and always do their best to try and accommodate parents. I like all of the activities that are available such as going to the library for a reading session, baking, coffee morning to raise money for charities and the dress up days! I couldn’t imagine sending my kids to another nursery.

Highly recommended this setting for your children. My little boy is thriving. He looks forward every morning to attending nursery, seeing his friends and teachers. The staff are all very polite and nothing is too much trouble. I always receive a hasty response to any query I may have.

Great place, my son spend over 2 years in there and was really happy about his nursery. Staff are really friendly, place looks cosy, kids seem happy. Can't wait to send my younger there
