Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

The curriculum is ambitious for all children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Children with SEND thrive because staff focus on what they need to learn and break down tasks into small steps, providing the right support to succeed.

EAL / language support

Children who speak English as an additional language are truly supported. Staff acknowledge that children need time to learn English, so they ask parents to record their voices on a recording device. This helps new children to feel settled as they hear their parents' voices saying familiar phrases, such as 'let's tidy up'. This also helps children to understand what is happening next. As children become settled, they develop confidence and begin to use lots of words in English.

Outstanding nursery. Excellent staff who clearly love working there, healthy home cooked food and our toddler never wants to leave at the end of every day. A lovely large garden for the children to play in and even a resident chicken called Buttercup!

Filled out my application form and dropped it off was approached by a not so very friendly member of staff who was very unhelpful. Not the type of people I'd like dealing with my baby. Won't be accepting the waiting list placement

A staff member had her head stuck out of the front door smoking. Not a good look especially for a nursery, wouldn’t want my child around someone smothered in smoke, myself and my family were shocked to see it when driving by.
