We wanted to leave a review as it was our son’s last day at Smarties today. If you are in any doubt over which nursery to choose for your little one, please take it from us that Smarties is a kind, nurturing, supportive home from home environment with a warm, gentle and proactive manager. The staff treat the children with the same love and care they would their own and they can be trusted to put their all into making every day as happy and enriching as it can be for the children. Don’t look any further than Smarties. They will have a special place in our hearts forever!

My daughter has attended Smarties Day Nursery for almost two years, and we have been very impressed with the care they have provided in this time. They plan engaging activities, lots of learning through play and will always ensure they spend some time outdoors. The nursery staff are kind, attentive and have taken the time to get to know my daughter and as a result she loves going in.

My son attends pre-school at Smarties and has formed some lovely friendships there. The staff are attentive and friendly. Gemma, the manager, has been very understanding and supportive of my son’s needs as a premature child who is a little behind his peers. He has come on leaps and bounds since starting at Smarties. Definitely recommend this nursery.

Smarties is a kind a nurturing nursery! My eldest is now 7 and my youngest is 3 and is in the pre-school room there! I couldn’t have asked for a better nursery to send my children to! We initially chose it based on a recommendation from a friend and I’m so pleased we did! I love that it’s much smaller than lots of nurseries! I feel that the staff get to know the children so well - I’m so confident dropping my son off, whether he’s full of beans or crying (as we do still get both - although more of the first one now due to his age)! The staff work together brilliantly as a team and Gemma is the glue holding it all together! My children have both thrived during their time at smarties! I’m keeping my son there until Foundation 2 as I’m sure that he’ll do really well in the pre-school there as they start to learn more school-type skills. We have even kept his place there despite moving house, the extra journey time is well worth it! If you’re not sure, ask for more information from Gemma and/or go for a visit, like we did! It really is a wonderful place ❤️😀

Smarties Private Nursery is one of the best nurseries in Mansfield. My son is always happy to go to nursery and has an amazing bond with all his key workers. Gemma the manager is a wonderful woman. She works so hard to make sure all the parents and children are happy. My son loves the garden and especially the mud kitchen area. When it’s hot weather he enjoys using the sprinkler. He is a very confident young boy and a lot of that is down to the staff. They keep me updated with his progress and even when I call to check up they are more than happy to help. I highly recommend Smarties as I will be sending my second son there very soon. They supportive. Caring. Very friendly. It’s like a second family. A must visit!!
