Inclusion & environment
The support that children with special educational needs and/or disabilities receive is very good. The manager uses additional funding to implement personalised support, ensuring children make very good progress, for instance, by buying turn-taking games to positively impact children's social skills.

Amazing nursery with a team that re always willing to go above and beyond. My son loves attending and always talks about his 'teachers' at home. He was very shy initially but the kindness he has received has really drawn him out of his shell. Thankyou to all of you.
Read on GoogleMy child is left anxious and scared of schools, is no longer the confident little girl she was before attending this nursery and is deeply traumatised. I wish I’d never came across them. My daughter (3yrs old) was intimidated and physically handled by a member of staff to force her to do what they wanted after showing signs of distress and upset. Her lead carer failed to report any events of the day and after a long period of sobbing all the way home, she told me that her teacher hurt her and scared her with his horrible voice he makes. This happened in the summer and she still talks about it and is deeply traumatised. After calling and speaking with the manager, I was told she’d watched on the CCTV and he did handle her and she was upset and crying, however she was probably over sensitive and tired. He didn’t intend to hurt her and would explain if I wanted to take her back in. She has never been back and nore would I let her. This nursery failed my daughter and have been reported to Ofsted. I’m beyond angry and upset as they’ve stripped away my daughter’s confidence. I also have trust issues with leaving her in other people’s care now. Although, I have managed to find a new nursery who have been continually supportive and trying to get her back to her confident self. It’s a work in progress and I’m looking at homeschooling if this next few months doesn’t see improvements with her anxiety levels. This wouldn’t be so bad but we as parents questioned how they handled strong willed kids and the response was that they sit them down away from others to calm down and then talk about what’s going on. This was a lie. I now wish I’d have reported the incident to the police as well, but was under the impression Ofsted would take necessary action. I have no idea what action as actually been taken since reporting the incident as I haven’t had any contact since and they’re not bound to tell me. I do not recommend this place to anyone and worry about safeguarding. Also to add, they have responded to my review on other sites, one I cannot make a reply to, but on their social media page, they have stopped reviews being seen after I did reply requesting the phone call as evidence to support my review. I haven’t received a response or the recording. The fact that they have hidden the reviews speak volumes.
Read on GoogleOur little one has been at the nursery for 3 months now in the baby room and absolutely loves it. The staff are so caring and friendly. She has really settled in well and now is keen to start playing as soon as she gets dropped off of a morning. Choosing a nursery is is so hard when you can't imagine handing over your precious little one to anyone other than family but I am so glad that I chose smiles. She is so happy to be there and has developed so much in such a short space of time.
