Sparklers Nursery, established in September 2008, operates Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm, offering a mixed term-time schedule. This full day care provision, catering to children aged 1 to 4 years, received a "Good" rating in its latest Ofsted inspection on 8th November 2022.
Children here learn and play in a positive and nurturing setting, greeted by warm and caring staff who form strong attachments to help them settle and build confidence. The curriculum is well-sequenced and challenging, ensuring that all children make good progress across the seven areas of learning.
The nursery places a strong emphasis on outdoor learning, with opportunities for children to explore a mud kitchen, engage in planting and gardening, and learn about nature by caring for mini beasts. Managers and leaders provide excellent support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) and those who speak English as an additional language, working closely with parents and professionals to ensure every child makes good progress.
Children develop good independence skills, from serving their own food to dressing themselves, and are taught about healthy choices and lifestyles. Staff are dedicated to ongoing training and development, which positively impacts children's learning, particularly in communication.
The nursery fosters strong relationships with parents, who receive regular updates on their child's progress and daily feedback.

Children have lots of opportunities to play indoors and outdoors. Children learn about nature through exploring the setting's mud kitchen, and they enjoy planting and gardening.

Read on GoogleThis is not a good nursery. I do not recommend you send your child there. There are a handful of staff that are competent but the rest lack training and accountability. They don't take on constructive feedback and they try to cut corners. Even emails that are sent to parents/guardian are not proof read before they are sent out. Absolute trash!!!!
