EAL / language support

Staff support children who speak English as an additional language well, using picture cards to develop understanding and English usage, and learning key words in children's home languages to help them feel secure. The setting also has excellent partnerships with external agencies, with translators visiting weekly to provide specialist support.

My son is getting all the help he needs, thanks to the staff (especially the manager, Caroline). I am happy he started attending St George’s Pre-school the time he did.
