St James Pre-School is a gorgeous nursery setting equipped with snug reading corners, colourful art spaces, multi-play facilities and a delightful outdoor area with a sandpit, small climbing frame/ slide and a growing garden. The nursery also has access to a huge indoor hall where the children can whizz around on scooters and trikes, play ball games and take part in extra-curricular activities like yoga, dancing and messy play. My son is finishing his last term at St James Pre-School having been there for 2.5 years. He has absolutely loved it. There is a great staff-to-child ratio. The teachers are fantastic - very nurturing, genuine and kind - some of whom have been with the nursery for many years. They have an incredible ability to make every child feel special and cherished, and my son has flourished under their guidance. Highly recommend.

I cannot recommend St James Pre-school enough. It has been a blessing and I truly feel the teachers are like extended family. They are so kind and caring and nurture our children. It feels so great to know our children are well looked after, and are also enriched with so many wonderful experiences. Friendships are the heart of this preschool, you really see your little ones make great connections and have fun so much all day long. They have a wonderful garden and spend a lot of time gardening and learning outside. They make inspiring builds outside as well as great role play like dressing up and washing cars. There is a climbing frame with slide, sandpit and mud kitchen as well as a hall with bikes and cars for indoor use. The upstairs classroom is warm and friendly full of activities, fun and learning. The preschool also provide a class a term, from yoga to football as well a wealth of lovely activities the children will cherish forever. Our particular favourites being, watching the chicks hatch, visiting the fire station and having wild science visit. Both my children have been at preschool and it has been the best expertise them both, giving them a fantastic start to their their school life.

My 3 children have all attended St James Pre School. They all love and have loved it- my youngest son is still there and finishing this year. We will both be gutted to say goodbye. The teachers are brilliant so nurturing and caring. They have all been there for many years so there is consistency with the Pre School which is so important as previous nurseries they have attended had a high staff turnover and that used to unsettle the children. The outdoor facilities and the large hall are great my son loves playing and helping planting flowers and the wonderful vegetable garden. They also have extra curricular activities there such as a music class and ballet. This is a lovely Pre School, warm and friendly and very creative. We adore it!

St James' preschool provides a fantastic environment for children to enjoy. They are lucky to have a lot of space with a large hall, garden and upstairs classroom, with really experienced and nurturing staff. Our son has a brilliant time there - it's great to see his enthusiasm for it.
