Ofsted inspected the pre-school in September 2022 and gave it an overall rating of Good, noting that staff provide a calm atmosphere where children feel safe and are eager to explore activities.

Children have access to an outdoor area that includes a mud kitchen and a large mud area for developing physical skills. The inspector found that staff support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities extremely well, working with parents and professionals on detailed care plans. Children’s independence is promoted through activities such as pouring their own drinks and helping to tidy away. Parents commented positively to the inspector about staff communication and the pre-school's settling-in sessions.
