Stepping Stones Pre-School, established in 1995, provides a warm and welcoming environment for children aged 2 to 4 years. 45am until 6pm, offering consistent support for families.

Achieving an overall "Good" rating from Ofsted on 13th September 2022, the setting ensures children enjoy their time while engaging in purposeful activities. The curriculum encourages exploration both indoors and outdoors, with opportunities to develop physical skills in a well-resourced mud kitchen and a large mud area.

Staff at Stepping Stones Pre-School are highly committed and create a calm, relaxed atmosphere where children feel safe, secure, and eager to learn. They excel at supporting children with special educational needs and/or disabilities, working closely with parents and other professionals to create detailed education health and care plans that meet individual needs.

Children are encouraged to develop independence, from washing hands and pouring drinks to helping tidy away. The pre-school also promotes an understanding of the natural world, allowing children to explore and learn about their local community through organised visits.
